This week in Year 3, we have been continuing to learn about our Stone Age topic and have been discussing our Stone Age inventions ready to persuade the Dragons’ Den which one they should invest in.
Please find above (click the link), details of the homework for this week. It is due back earlier (on Monday 6th November) as some of the children’s work will be used in a Remembrance assembly on Tuesday morning.

Homework this week is to make a Roman shield ready for our visit from a Roman Soldier and lady on Tuesday 23rd March. This can be made from cardboard, an old box or a sheet of A4 card (which children can collect from school).
The shield should have a Roman design on the front (like this picture)

Homework this week is linked with our Geography trip to the village. The children have been thinking about what could improve the village even further. They have been considering what the village might need to help it become even more popular, such as a swimming pool, cinema, new type of shop, area to relax, leisure centre or even utilities such as a train station or sporting arena.
On the sheet provided, children should design a new building and complete the sections about why Stubbington needs it and what their new design can offer.
